Transmedia storytelling theory?
1. Yeah, media power to the people. This is new?
2. Storytelling is a broken metaphor when working in interactive. You can tell stories with some media but not all; this is a problem when your theory is supposed to pull all media together.
3. The best story is still The Matrix, which is a case of transmedia fandom perhaps, but not transmedia storytelling.

Is Obama the first nerd president? Probably not. Hodgman portrays the Founding Fathers as nerds, but Washington was definitely a jock, and John Adams was probably a jock too. Jefferson was the first nerd president, "awkward" according to his WhiteHouse.gov biography.
