Corporate Team Building Workshop, originally uploaded by dknNYC.
I'm on Facebook. Right now, as you are reading this, there is a very good chance that I am checking my Facebook account, updating my status, and checking to see how my friends are doing. I know that this is a sad excuse for not blogging, but it's the truth.
The other reason that my public blog has been neglected is that I am saying what I have to say about marketing and strategy at work. The people I work with are suffering (or benefiting) from my thinking, and I figure that's how it should be. The photo above is from an integration workshop I was part of last week. I guess I forgot to mention that clients are getting some of that thinking, too.
I remain unconvinced that anyone was benefiting from this blog, anyway. Too often posting to it has felt like vanity. If you did actually get any value from what was posted here at cubemate, please send an e-mail, or post a comment with some recommendations on what to do next.
Someone at work has proposed that I become an agony aunt (advice columnist) for strategists. I could do that if people are interested.
The original intent of cubemate was to stay in touch with people far away in time and place. And as noted above, Facebook and Flickr have pretty much covered that.
