Following the thread on public diplomacy and EUTube, the Google Public Affairs Blog points to India's new YouTube channel.
It may be tourism focussed, but it does constitute another interesting example of how governments are using smaller scale, networked media to tell their stories, like in this short video above on the birth of a democratic India. In academic jargon, it raises issues of historiography within our contemporary framework of non-hegemonic content platforms.
Or, you could just say that it makes you think about who owns a country's history now that a country has only about as much authority as a single person online.
